The
Cottages
Our self catering accommodation is equipped to
the highest standard, with all the attention to detail you would expect
from a five star holiday.
The Byre /
Y Beudy
sleeps 2-4 (when joined to Y ‘Sgubor 2-9) + cot
This was originally the old cowshed. Back in the
1940’s and 50’s the cows were milked morning
and night and the milk sold to the nearby villagers with the surplus
milk sent in churns to the Milk Marketing Board. In more recent years
the cowshed housed up to 12 suckler cows during the winter months
but with the construction of more modern housing they were moved to
new accommodation!
Y Beudy is the middle cottage in the long range
of self-catering buildings. The front door opens directly into the
lounge / dining / kitchen area where all fixtures and fittings are
completed to the highest standard. The back door leads directly out
onto a pleasant patio area with views of the hillside - ideal for
sitting out and enjoying the country air. As with all the properties
you can often see red kites, buzzards and other birds soaring in the
skies above.
The light and airy bathroom is fully tiled and
has a spacious bath with overbath shower and glass
screen.
There
are two spacious and light bedrooms; one with twin beds and the other
with a double bed accommodation. The bedrooms are finished to the
level you would expect from you five star holiday accommodation, with
comfortable beds and quality bed linen.
An adjoining door to Y ‘Sgubor cottage is
a useful facility to combine both cottages or to add a bedroom as
necessary.
