The Cottages
Our self catering accommodation is equipped to the highest standard,
with all the attention to detail you would expect from a five star
holiday.
The Stable / Y Stabal
sleeps 2
As
the name suggests this cottage was the stable; its original cobbled
floor was raised during renovation and the cobbles can now be seen
re-laid within the courtyard. Back in the time before tractors, horses
were an important part of life on the farm; they were used to carry
out the heavy work, ploughing the land, etc. ‘Daisy’ and
‘Brown’ were the last of the large working horses to inhabit
the stable and a couple of their horseshoes have been fixed to the
wall outside as good luck charms. More recently our daughter’s
pony ‘Cherry’ was its inhabitant but she now enjoys a
nice
new stable across the courtyard.
Attractive stone steps lead up to the front door of the accommodation
which opens directly into a light spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining
area. As with all our self-catering cottages, Y Stabal is completed
to a very high
standard of accommodation with top quality fixtures and fittings in
keeping with the five star Tourist Board Award.
Leading directly out onto the individual patio area, the patio doors
offer a view of the hillsides and give a light and airy atmosphere
to the cottage.
This cottage has one bedroom and a fully tiled en-suite shower room
with toilet and wash hand basin. The Stable is ideal for couples or
individuals. The bed features a beautiful antique Welsh Quilt with
100% cotton bed linen.
